Group Loans

Group Loan
The group consists of a minimum of three and a maximum of eight people.
All group members must reside in the same residential area within the province.
All group members must be trustworthy and know each other well.
The group defines itself and is responsible for choosing its leader.
The group must not include first-degree relatives (such as mother, sister, brother, father, or spouse).
Group members are responsible for one another.
The loan amount ranges from a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $3,000 per group member, depending on the loan cycle for each individual.

Interest and Fees
The total interest will be 1% per month, plus a 3% application fee for the first and second loan cycles, and a 2% application fee for borrowers renewing in the third cycle or later. There will also be a 1% life insurance fee. (Note that the institution's fees and insurance are calculated on the total loan amount, not per month.) This is to ensure the best possible service and facilities for borrowers. The application fee is calculated as a fixed rate and is payable upfront from the loan.

Group Loans
The loan applicant must be between 18 and 65 years old.
The loan applicant must be the owner of the project, and the project must have been operating for at least 10 months (excluding new projects). Existing projects that have been operating for less than 10 months may be approved. If the loan applicant has extensive work experience and another source of income, a project that started within the last six months is considered a new project.

Any applicant must have an active business or residence in the same governorate.
The business activity must be legal, but it is not necessary for it to be licensed or registered.
The applicant must have a strong commitment to be able to repay the loan on time.
